110 miles south of Miami, Key Colony Point will forever hold our hearts, as we chose to say "I Do" on the neighboring beach in Sunset Park. The areas breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean are absolutely stunning and made the most gorgeous backdrop for our sunset wedding ceremony. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find resident iguanas that basked along the beaches.
Located in Key Colony Beach, Florida, Key Colony Point offers 1-story, 2 bedroom and 3-story, 3 bedroom condominiums. Each unit is adorned with a private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico; perfect for enjoying the spectacular views this property has to offer. Being there on the 4th of July, we were even able to enjoy the Sombrero Beach Fireworks Display, one of the Keys' largest and longest fireworks displays, from the privacy of our private balcony. It soothed my traveler's soul as I enjoyed sipping coffee and blogging each morning and reading every evening in this picturesque setting.
Onsite facilities at Key Colony Point include a fresh water swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor grilling area equipped with a gas grill, tennis courts, and a fishing pier. Our unit provided an updated kitchen, private washer and dryer, three bathrooms, covered parking, and an screened, outdoor patio area. Cable television and wi-fi were also included.
Most of the city of Key Colony Beach is located on an island formerly known as Shelter Key. Just outside of Marathon and only 55 miles north of Key West, Key Colony Point is perfectly positioned so that guests can fully experience all the Keys has to offer.
